Microsoft is adding a few long-awaited advancements to its arsenal – including, video editing capabilities to PowerPoint.
With the help of Clipchamp, a video editing service Microsoft purchased back in September, you’ll soon be able to easily edit and slot video or audio into your PowerPoint creations for a more polished presentation. And in even better news, the Clipchamp feature makes uploading to Tik Tok simpler too, because you will no longer need to save before you export.
What’s The Matter With Meta?
In October, Facebook went all Meta on us. But, if it plans on staying Meta, the newly christened company may have a fight on its hands. Back in August, a start-up PC company applied to trademark the name “Meta” for themselves but are still awaiting the results of their submission.
The owners are willing to drop their application however, if Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg forks out a cool $20 million.
Fairphone Makes a Fair Point
Smartphone developers Fairphone have been working toward creating a device that would be easily repairable and made from responsibly sourced materials. Now with their latest creation, it looks like they have achieved it! The Fairphone 4 (5G) has all the exciting bells and whistles of a regular high-end smartphone but comes with the added benefits of fair trade and a longer lifespan. What’s not to love?

Manufacturer, Engo Eyewear recently released a new line of athletic sunglasses for endurance sportsmen and women.
The lenses display real-time stats as you run, cycle or participate in other long-distance activities. The aim of this design is to allow athletes to “keep their eyes on the road” ahead and not be distracted by checking their vitals on their smartwatches or other devices.

Twitter is testing out some interesting new features on iOS. The company has added a button that lets Apple owners access tweet histories. The Search @Username’s Tweets button is a new feature that lets you explore your own tweets (or those of your followers, yikes!) when you look for specific words or terms.
